This is an excellent opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a modern, ambitious firm, where you’ll develop your technical expertise, gain hands-on client experience, and progress quickly toward a senior-level role.

The Role
As Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll be involved in a variety of assignments across accounts, audit, and tax, giving you a well-rounded foundation to progress in your career. Working closely with seniors, managers, and partners, you’ll gain valuable client-facing experience while continuing your professional studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping assignments.
- Supporting the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- Contributing to audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and testing under the supervision of senior staff.
- Liaising with clients directly, gathering information, resolving queries, and developing your relationship management skills.
- Supporting senior colleagues with technical and advisory projects.
- Taking responsibility for meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Working toward ACA/ACCA qualification with full study support provided.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
- Have at least 1–2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Possess a good understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance, with some exposure to audit.
- Be motivated to continue professional studies and build a long-term career in practice.
- Have excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Be confident in communicating with clients and colleagues, both in writing and in person.
- Show enthusiasm, resilience, and a proactive attitude toward learning and development.
