This is an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing firm of accountants in Bath. You’ll work with a wide range of personal and corporate tax clients, providing expert compliance and advisory services as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
The Role
As Tax Senior, you’ll take responsibility for managing your own portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance and assisting with advisory work. You’ll play a key role in maintaining client relationships and ensuring all tax obligations are met efficiently and accurately.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts
- Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
- Providing support on tax planning and advisory projects
- Assisting managers and partners with ad-hoc tax work including restructuring, capital gains, and inheritance tax planning
- Liaising with HMRC and other stakeholders on behalf of clients
- Ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation and keeping up to date with changes
