This is an outstanding opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a leading regional firm in Newbury. You’ll manage your own portfolio, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in delivering high-value tax advisory services.

The Role

As Tax Manager, you’ll work closely with senior leadership and manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.

• Managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing compliance for personal and corporate tax
• Reviewing complex tax computations and returns
• Delivering tax advisory projects, including restructuring, remuneration planning, IHT, CGT, and business transactions
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and presenting solutions to clients
• Liaising with HMRC, resolving queries, and handling enquiries
• Supporting, coaching, and reviewing work prepared by junior team members
• Contributing to departmental development, process improvements, and training
• Assisting partners with business development and client proposals
