This is a fantastic opportunity for a Client Manager to join a dynamic and expanding practice in London. You’ll be responsible for overseeing a diverse client portfolio and managing a team to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services.

The Role
As Client Manager, you’ll act as a trusted adviser to your clients, ensuring their accounting and tax affairs are managed efficiently while helping them achieve their business goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and limited companies.
- Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations.
- Providing proactive advice on accounting, tax, and business matters.
- Overseeing workflow, budgets, and deadlines within your portfolio.
- Managing and mentoring a small team of accountants and trainees.
- Liaising directly with clients, building strong relationships and delivering excellent service.
- Supporting the partners with business development and client retention initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with solid practice experience.
- Have experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy firm.
- Be confident reviewing accounts and tax work prepared by junior staff.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be commercially aware, proactive, and client-focused.
- Have strong leadership qualities and the ability to develop team members.
- Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines.
