This is a fantastic opportunity for an Audit Manager to join a growing practice in London. You’ll manage a diverse client portfolio, lead audit teams, and play an important role in driving quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

The Role

As Audit Manager, you’ll take responsibility for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, supporting the team and maintaining the highest professional standards. You’ll also work closely with other departments across the firm to deliver seamless client service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, professional services, charities, and corporate groups.
  • Leading audits from planning through to finalisation, including risk assessment, testing, and reporting.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical advice and building long-term relationships.
  • Reviewing the work of audit seniors and juniors, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring audits are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Identifying audit and technical issues, providing practical solutions, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across other service lines to deliver joined-up client support.
  • Contributing to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting proposals or tenders.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience in audit.
  • Have a solid understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards (ISA).
  • Demonstrate experience managing audits and reviewing the work of others.
  • Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • Have excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Be commercially minded and proactive in identifying ways to add value to clients.
  • Enjoy leading teams and developing junior colleagues.
