The Role
As Tax Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and identifying advisory opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a mixed portfolio of personal tax and corporate tax clients
- Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and corporate tax computations
- Leading on tax planning and advisory projects
- Handling complex HMRC enquiries and technical queries
- Supporting and mentoring junior tax team members
- Ensuring tax compliance deadlines are met
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying opportunities to grow the tax service offering
About You
To be considered for this Tax Manager job in Huddersfield, you will:
- Be CTA qualified, ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Have strong UK accountancy practice tax experience
- Demonstrate expertise in both personal tax and corporate tax
- Be confident managing your own client portfolio
- Possess strong technical, organisational and communication skills
- Have experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
