An established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Barnsley is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Client Manager to play a key role in managing and developing a substantial client portfolio.
This is a leadership-focused position suited to a commercially minded ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and delivering high-quality advisory support.
The Role – Senior Client Manager
As Senior Client Manager, you will take strategic responsibility for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing a sizeable portfolio of clients
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax work
- Providing business advisory support to growing SMEs
- Overseeing workflow and delegating to junior team members
- Driving new fees through proactive client engagement
- Identifying cross-referral opportunities across service lines
- Supporting Partners with strategic client planning
This role offers a blend of technical oversight, client leadership and commercial input.

About You
