The Role
As Partner, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing the firm’s Swindon office. This is a hands-on leadership position, offering the chance to influence strategy, nurture client relationships, and drive business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading client engagements and acting as a trusted advisor to owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and private clients
- Driving business development through strategic networking and identifying growth opportunities
- Overseeing a team of talented professionals and ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Supporting the development of junior partners and managers through coaching and mentoring
- Managing a portfolio of clients, providing strategic advice across audit, accounts, and tax
- Contributing to the wider strategic direction of the firm and its growth objectives
- Maintaining the highest standards of technical and professional excellence
- Collaborating with other senior leaders to enhance operational efficiency and client experience
About You
You will be a commercially minded, client-focused professional with the leadership skills to inspire and the credibility to advise.
You will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience in practice.
- Have a proven track record of managing and growing a substantial client portfolio.
- Possess strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate.
- Demonstrate a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with commercial awareness.
- Be experienced in developing new business and building strong referral networks.
- Have the ability to deliver clear, practical advice to a range of clients.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating at both operational and strategic levels.
A following or existing network of client relationships would be advantageous but not essential — what matters most is your ability to lead, inspire, and drive growth.
