Client Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Client Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice in Carlisle. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients, act as a trusted adviser and contribute to the ongoing development of the firm’s client services offering.
The Role
As Client Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery, quality and development of your own client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive and commercially focused advice
- Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
- Overseeing corporation tax and personal tax compliance across your portfolio
- Managing workflow, deadlines and client expectations
- Leading, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior and senior team members
- Supporting client meetings and advisory projects
- Identifying opportunities to add value and expand client services
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and improving internal processes
- Working closely with Partners and senior colleagues on more complex assignments
