Client Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Client Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice in Axminster. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, act as a key adviser to clients and contribute to the ongoing development of the firm.
The Role
As Client Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the delivery, quality and growth of your own client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive and commercially focused advice
- Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
- Overseeing corporation tax and personal tax compliance across your portfolio
- Managing workflow, deadlines and client expectations
- Leading, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior and senior team members
- Supporting client meetings and advisory projects
- Identifying opportunities to add value and expand client services
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and improving internal processes
- Working closely with senior leadership on complex assignments where required
