The Opportunity
As Audit Director, you’ll oversee a substantial audit portfolio, manage client relationships, and lead an experienced team. You’ll ensure audits are delivered to the highest standard while supporting the firm’s broader commercial and strategic objectives.
This is an ideal role for a technically strong, people-focused leader who enjoys mentoring others and driving success across an audit function.
Key responsibilities include:

Manage and review audit assignments across varied industry sectors

Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted business adviser

Oversee technical standards, compliance, and quality within the audit team

Contribute to firm-wide planning, budgeting, and business development

Lead and inspire a growing team, fostering continuous learning and development
About You
You will:

ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive audit leadership experience

Skilled in managing complex audits and leading teams in practice

Excellent communication and client relationship management

Commercially aware and confident in contributing to strategic discussions

Motivated by progression and opportunity to move towards Partnership
