Tax Assistant
Tax Assistant Accountants provide tax accountancy services and advice for businesses and individuals in the UK. Tax Assistant Accountants will be found working in accountancy firms that provide tax services and usually statutory accounting services to companies and individuals.
Tax Assistant Accountants usually report in a Tax Senior Manager of Tax Manager and provide support to an accountancy firms tax or accounting department. The Tax Assistant Accountants role is usually a split between tax accountancy tasks and tax administrative jobs. Tax Assistant Accountants will complete both personal tax returns and corporation tax returns CT600.
Tax Assistant Accountants will often be studying towards professional tax qualifications such as CTA or ATT.
