The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take responsibility for both technical delivery and client management, including:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing management accounts and providing financial insights to clients
- Drafting corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
- Reviewing work produced by junior team members and providing constructive feedback
- Supporting the training and development of trainees
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
- Assisting managers and partners on complex assignments
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to high technical standards
About You
The successful candidate will:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or QBE) with at least 3–4 years’ experience in practice
- Strong technical understanding across accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Comfortable reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Detail-focused and committed to delivering excellent client service
- A team player who enjoys working in a friendly, professional environment
