Job Purpose
- Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders and Limited companies
- Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors
- Oversee client workflow and internal management of resources
- Provide assistance with bookkeeping where required
- Supervise junior staff, reviewing work and supporting their professional development
- Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
- Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
- Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
- ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience would also be considered
- A proven track record of bookkeeping is desirable, but not essential
- Strong working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Excellent financial modelling and data interpretation skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
- A team player who can also work autonomously
- A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
