The Role
As Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the firm’s outsourced services team, supporting clients with essential financial information that enables them to make informed business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
- Processing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS returns.
- Supporting clients with technical accounting queries.
- Assisting with the review of work prepared by more junior team members.
- Managing deadlines and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in service delivery.
- Developing strong, long-term professional relationships with clients and internal colleagues.
This role is client-facing, so excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
- Be studying towards your ACA/ACCA qualification, or be AAT qualified with relevant practice experience.
- Have experience working within accountancy practice, particularly with bookkeeping and management accounts.
- Possess strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Be confident in communicating with clients and building professional relationships.
- Be motivated to progress your career within a supportive practice environment.
