The Role

As Semi Senior Accountant, you will work alongside seniors and managers to deliver high-quality services to clients across a range of industries. This role offers excellent variety, giving you exposure to accounts, tax compliance, and audit.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns.
• Supporting the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Assisting with audit assignments, including fieldwork and testing.
• Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
• Supporting senior colleagues with technical work and advisory projects.
• Developing your technical knowledge while progressing through ACA/ACCA qualifications.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
• Have previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Possess good technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Be motivated to continue studying and developing professionally.
• Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Be confident in communicating with clients and colleagues.
