Role responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of year-end accounts and financial reporting for a wide range of clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering practical advice and commercial insight
• Overseeing the work of managers and junior staff to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency
• Providing strategic input on firm direction, client growth and service development
• Supporting clients with budgeting, forecasting, systems implementation and process improvement
• Playing a key role in new business development and representing the firm in the wider business community
• Maintaining high standards of technical accuracy, quality control and ethical compliance

Candidate requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a general practice or accounts-focused role
• Proven track record of managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality accounts services
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their business goals
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
• Strategic thinker ready to contribute to firm-wide growth and decision-making
