Tax Senior Role Overview – Personal Tax, Corporate Tax & Compliance
As Tax Senior, you will manage a portfolio of clients across Wakefield, Leeds, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Huddersfield and the wider West Yorkshire region. The role will involve delivering tax compliance services, supporting tax advisory work and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax and corporate tax clients
- Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and corporate tax returns
- Assist with tax planning and advisory projects for individuals and businesses
- Review tax computations and supporting documentation
- Support clients with capital gains tax (CGT), inheritance tax (IHT) and tax planning matters
- Liaise directly with clients and respond to HMRC queries and correspondence

- Ensure compliance with current UK tax legislation and HMRC requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Strong experience in personal tax and/or corporate tax within accountancy practice
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax compliance and HMRC regulations
- Experience preparing or reviewing self-assessment and corporate tax returns
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- A proactive and organised approach to work
