The Role
As Tax Semi Senior, you’ll work closely with senior members of the tax team, supporting both compliance and advisory work for a broad mix of corporate and private clients. You’ll gain exposure to complex and rewarding assignments while developing your technical skills and confidence.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

Supporting senior advisors on a range of tax advisory projects

Conducting research into tax legislation and preparing reports and summaries

Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence

Assisting with business reorganisations, share transactions, and tax planning projects

Preparing technical documentation and maintaining client records

Developing your knowledge through on-the-job training and mentoring
This is a varied and client-facing role that offers early exposure to advisory work and the chance to learn from experienced professionals.
About You
You’ll be enthusiastic, organised, and keen to build a career in tax within a supportive, professional environment.
You will:

Experience in tax within an accountancy practice (though strong trainees will be considered)

Be AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA part-qualified or looking to begin studying

Have a genuine interest in tax and problem-solving.

Possess strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Be confident using Excel and familiar with accounting or tax software.

Have a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and progress.
