Tax Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mixed Tax Manager to join a modern and expanding professional services firm in Glasgow. You’ll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, deliver both compliance and advisory services, and play an active role in developing the tax team and client offering.
The Role
As Mixed Tax Manager, you’ll oversee a broad portfolio of clients and provide high-quality tax advice to a diverse range of businesses and individuals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate, personal and partnership clients
- Reviewing and preparing complex tax computations and returns
- Providing advisory input on CGT, inheritance tax, and succession planning
- Identifying tax-saving opportunities and offering practical client advice
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff to ensure strong technical delivery
- Managing client relationships and handling HMRC correspondence
- Assisting senior leadership with business development and technical initiatives
