Tax Director
Are you a senior tax professional ready to lead, grow, and make an impact? We’re looking for a Head of CT Advisory, someone with a strong track record in corporation tax who can deliver commercial results, lead a high-performing team, and help shape the future of a growing tax advisory function.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop the Corporation Tax Advisory division, setting and delivering on revenue growth targets.
- Oversee business development; build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a senior manager (your number two) who will handle technical delivery and ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure consistency and quality in technical work, including both CT advice and cross-tax issues.
- Occasional involvement in technical sessions (e.g. via Teams) to assess candidates or work quality – you’ll lead, not micromanage.
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience in corporation tax advisory at senior level, including revenue responsibility.
- Strong technical foundations across corporate tax; ideally some exposure to other taxes.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills; able to coach, develop and motivate senior-level staff.
- Ability to balance commercial thinking with technical rigour.
- Comfortable with hybrid working.
