Senior Tax Manager
We’re looking for a talented Senior Tax Manager to join a growing advisory team and play a pivotal role in supporting a Tax Partner. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious tax professional who enjoys variety, thrives on delivering high-quality client service, and is ready to step up into a senior leadership role.
The role
- Report directly to a Tax Partner, acting as their number two and providing technical expertise across a wide spectrum of tax advisory work.
- Manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of tax projects spanning corporate, personal, and inheritance tax, as well as broader mixed tax assignments.
- Review and oversee compliance and advisory work, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
- Build and strengthen client relationships by offering clear, commercially minded advice.
About you
- ACA/CTA (or equivalent) qualified with strong experience in tax.
- A broad tax background, ideally spanning both corporate and personal tax with exposure to specialist areas such as IHT.
- Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to communicate complex matters in a straightforward way.
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to engage directly with clients.
- A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
What’s on offer
- Salary in the range of £70,000 – £90,000 depending on experience.
