The Role – Senior Tax Manager (HMRC)
As Senior Tax Manager, you’ll take the lead on HMRC-related matters, supporting clients through enquiries and investigations while providing strategic and technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and leading HMRC enquiries and investigations, including aspect and full enquiries
- Acting as the primary point of contact between clients and HMRC
- Drafting technical responses, negotiating settlements and managing disclosures
- Advising clients on tax risk, governance and preventative strategies
- Supporting complex cases involving income tax, corporation tax, VAT and PAYE
- Working closely with Partners on high-profile and sensitive matters
- Providing technical support and guidance to wider tax teams
- Contributing to the development of HMRC enquiry and dispute services
- Mentoring and supporting Managers and senior team members
