You’ll deliver high-level advisory work across both corporate and personal tax, manage complex client relationships, and play an integral role in developing the firm’s tax offering.
The Role
As Senior Tax Manager, you’ll lead a varied portfolio of clients and take ownership of delivering strategic tax advice. You’ll work on projects spanning corporate restructuring, remuneration planning, succession, and business sales — supporting business owners, families, and growing companies with proactive, solutions-focused advice.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading the delivery of tax advisory projects across both personal and corporate tax

Advising clients on restructuring, remuneration, and succession planning

Managing complex assignments such as business sales, share reorganisations, and capital gains tax issues

Reviewing tax computations and supporting compliance where required

Building and maintaining long-term client relationships across multiple sectors

Providing technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, and supporting their professional development

Working closely with Partners to identify new opportunities and drive business growth

Keeping up to date with tax legislation changes and providing practical insights to clients and colleagues
About You
You’ll be a technically strong and commercially astute tax professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and developing others.
You will:
- Be CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)

Have significant experience in mixed or advisory-focused tax work within a UK accountancy firm

Demonstrate strong technical expertise in both corporate and personal tax

Be confident handling multiple advisory projects simultaneously

Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Be proactive, organised, and client-focused with strong attention to detail

Have an interest in mentoring others and contributing to team growth
