Senior Tax Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Employment Tax Manager to join a growing and progressive professional services firm in Glasgow. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, lead advisory projects across all aspects of employment tax, and contribute to the continued expansion of a successful and collaborative tax team.
The Role
As Senior Employment Tax Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex employment tax matters, managing compliance processes, and leading strategic projects. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and have the autonomy to shape client solutions and internal processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex employment tax and PAYE compliance for corporate and owner-managed clients
- Providing specialist advice on IR35, benefits-in-kind, termination payments, and share schemes
- Leading advisory projects around workforce planning, reward strategy, and global mobility
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and representing the firm in HMRC correspondence
- Supporting senior leadership with departmental strategy and business development
- Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of excellence
- Staying informed on employment tax legislation and emerging compliance requirements

You’ll be a technically strong and commercially astute tax professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and developing others.
