Senior Tax Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Employment Tax Manager to join a growing and dynamic professional services firm in Aberdeen. You’ll lead client engagements across a wide range of industries, providing expert advice on employment tax compliance and strategy while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.
The Role
As Senior Employment Tax Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing strategic and technical advice on all aspects of employment tax. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to develop client relationships, deliver advisory projects, and ensure compliance excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex employment tax and PAYE compliance for a wide range of clients
- Advising on IR35, termination payments, benefits-in-kind, and salary sacrifice arrangements
- Leading client advisory projects on reward, incentives, and global mobility
- Acting as the key point of contact for HMRC enquiries and negotiations
- Mentoring and developing team members within the employment tax department
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to firm-wide strategy
- Keeping up to date with changes in employment tax legislation and advising clients accordingly
About You
You’ll be a commercially focused and technically strong tax professional with proven expertise in employment tax and a passion for advisory work.
