Senior Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established firm in Liverpool. You’ll work with a broad mix of clients, oversee high-quality accounts and tax work, and support the development of junior team members within a friendly, collaborative environment.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for delivering a full range of accounts and compliance services to your own portfolio, while supporting wider team output.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
- Producing management accounts and providing practical insight to clients
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns, with exposure to personal tax where relevant
- Managing your own portfolio of clients, building long-term professional relationships
- Acting as a day-to-day point of contact, resolving queries and advising clients clearly
- Reviewing work prepared by juniors, offering feedback and technical support
- Supporting workflow planning and ensuring assignments are delivered on time
- Assisting managers and partners on complex accounts or advisory projects as needed
You’ll gain a strong mix of technical responsibility and client exposure, with autonomy and support.
