The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting and business advice. You’ll work directly with business owners and managers, ensuring they receive clear, practical, and timely support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Reviewing accounts prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and liaising with HMRC as needed
• Managing and developing relationships with clients across a range of industries
• Assisting with management accounts, VAT returns, and cash flow forecasting
• Providing ad hoc business and tax advisory support
• Training, supervising, and supporting junior members of the team
• Supporting managers and partners with special projects, technical queries, and process improvements
