Senior Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a progressive and expanding accountancy practice in Plympton. The Role
As Senior Accountant, you’ll prepare and review accounts, management information, and tax returns, while helping clients make informed business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations
- Reviewing work prepared by junior colleagues and offering guidance and feedback
- Liaising directly with clients to build strong, long-term relationships
- Supporting managers and partners with advisory and planning projects
- Ensuring all client work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with deadlines
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and value-added services

You’ll be a technically strong, organised, and client-focused accountant who enjoys variety and responsibility.
