Tax Senior

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing firm in Swindon. You’ll be part of a knowledgeable and friendly tax team, managing a varied portfolio of clients and delivering both compliance and advisory services.
The Role
As Tax Senior, you’ll take responsibility for preparing and reviewing a range of personal and corporate tax returns, supporting clients with compliance, and assisting in advisory work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, partnership returns, and corporation tax computations
- Providing technical support and advice to clients on a range of tax issues
- Assisting with tax planning projects such as remuneration strategies, capital gains, and inheritance tax
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and managing correspondence
- Supporting more junior team members and reviewing their work where appropriate
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of tax processes within the team
