This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a reputable and growing professional services firm in Great Yarmouth. You’ll work with a wide range of clients across multiple industries, taking ownership of your work while contributing to the success of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you’ll manage a varied client portfolio and play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns. You’ll also assist in mentoring junior colleagues and supporting the firm’s continued growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts and VAT returns
- Assisting with corporate and personal tax compliance
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing feedback
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and handling day-to-day queries
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Liaising with managers and partners on complex technical or advisory matters
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to deadlines
