Audit Senior

This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a well-established and respected accountancy practice in Gloucester. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse client base across multiple sectors.
The Role
As Audit Senior, you’ll be responsible for planning, leading, and completing audit assignments while supporting and developing junior members of the team. Working closely with managers and partners, you’ll have the opportunity to build long-term client relationships and gain exposure to a wide range of businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion for a variety of clients
- Managing the audit process, including risk assessment, fieldwork, and report preparation
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing coaching and feedback
- Ensuring assignments are delivered on time and to the highest professional standards
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in line with UK GAAP
- Building strong client relationships and providing clear, practical advice
- Liaising with clients on technical and commercial matters to ensure smooth audit delivery
- Working with the wider team to identify opportunities to add value for clients
