Client Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Client Manager – Agriculture & Property to join an established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Stratford-upon-Avon. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of agricultural, rural business and property clients while supporting the development of junior team members and helping shape the firm’s service offering.
The Role
As Client Manager, you’ll act as the main point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of agriculture and property clients, including farming businesses, estates, rural enterprises, landlords and property investors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own portfolio of agriculture and property clients, providing year-round accounting and tax support.
- Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns prepared by the team.
- Advising on sector-specific matters such as farm accounts, diversified income streams, land and property structures, capital allowances, VAT and capital taxes.
- Building long-term relationships and offering proactive, commercially focused advice.
- Mentoring, supervising and reviewing the work of junior and part-qualified team members.
- Managing workflow, deadlines and resource requirements across your portfolio.
- Assisting with proposals, client onboarding and ad hoc advisory projects.
- Identifying opportunities to support clients further and add value to their businesses.
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing, training and process improvements.
This is a well-rounded role combining technical work, advisory responsibilities and team leadership.
About You
You’ll be a confident and experienced accounting professional with a strong interest in the agriculture and/or property sectors.
