Job Requirements

• Support the delivery of statutory audit assignments from planning to completion
• Lead onsite audit teams to ensure quality fieldwork, ensuring compliance at every step
• Work collaboratively with departments across the firm
• Liaise with HMRC on work assignments
• Supervise and coach junior staff both on site and in the office by reviewing work
• Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
• Manage own workload and regularly update managers with work progress
• Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
• Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
• Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

The Successful Applicant 

• ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
• Qualified by experience also considered
• A minimum of 2 years’ audit experience within practice
• Excellent knowledge of relevant audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
• Highly personable with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress within the firm
• A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
• Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
• Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
• Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work confidently under pressure to meet deadlines
