Audit Senior

This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a respected and growing firm in London. You’ll work with a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors, take ownership of audit assignments, and play a key role in supporting junior team members.
The Role
As Audit Senior, you’ll lead statutory audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery to a high technical standard.
- Leading audits for a broad portfolio of clients, including SMEs, groups and specialist entities
- Planning audit assignments, identifying risk areas and agreeing scope with clients
- Managing onsite and remote fieldwork, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Reviewing audit files, testing, and working papers prepared by trainees and semi seniors
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/FRS 102
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, resolving queries and building trust
- Highlighting audit findings and control weaknesses to managers and partners
- Mentoring junior staff, supporting their development and performance
- Ensuring jobs stay on track to time budgets and deadlines
