This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a well-established and reputable firm in Hull. You’ll lead audit engagements, support junior staff, and play a key role in delivering high-quality service to a broad range of clients.

The Role

As Audit Senior, you’ll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working directly with managers and partners.

• Leading audit engagements for a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients
• Planning, performing and completing statutory audits in line with regulatory standards
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members during fieldwork
• Reviewing audit work completed by trainees and semi seniors
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and supporting working papers
• Identifying risks, control weaknesses and areas for improvement
• Communicating effectively with clients and building strong working relationships
• Ensuring assignments are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Assisting with the training and development of the audit team

This role offers a balanced mix of audit and accounts exposure with the opportunity to progress into Assistant Manager or Manager level.
