Audit Senior

This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a respected and growing professional services practice in Peterborough. You’ll take the lead on audits across a varied client portfolio, develop strong client relationships, and support the firm’s continued success through quality and innovation.
The Role
As Audit Senior, you’ll manage audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a first-class client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and completing audits for a wide range of clients, including limited companies, groups, and charities
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Building trusted relationships with clients and advising on technical and commercial matters
- Identifying audit risks and recommending practical solutions
- Liaising with managers and partners to ensure efficient delivery of assignments
- Supporting the development of more junior colleagues through training and mentoring

You’ll be a motivated and detail-oriented audit professional with strong technical skills and a client-focused approach.
