Role responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning and execution of audit assignments for a wide range of clients
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
• Undertaking fieldwork and testing, liaising directly with clients as needed
• Working closely with audit seniors, managers and partners to ensure high-quality delivery
• Reviewing and analysing financial information to identify risk and provide insights
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and audit standards

Candidate requirements

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified, finalist, newly qualified or qualified by experience
• At least two years’ experience in audit within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical understanding of UK accounting standards
• Confident communicator with a proactive and analytical mindset
• Keen to progress, learn and contribute within a fast-paced audit team
