Role responsibilities
- Assisting in the planning and execution of audit assignments for a wide range of clients
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
- Undertaking fieldwork and testing, liaising directly with clients as needed
- Working closely with audit seniors, managers and partners to ensure high-quality delivery
- Reviewing and analysing financial information to identify risk and provide insights
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to their development
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and audit standards

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified, finalist, newly qualified or qualified by experience
- At least two years’ experience in audit within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical understanding of UK accounting standards
- Confident communicator with a proactive and analytical mindset
- Keen to progress, learn and contribute within a fast-paced audit team
