This is a fantastic opportunity for an Audit Manager to join an expanding audit team in Liverpool. You’ll oversee end-to-end audit engagements, act as a trusted adviser to clients, and play a key role in developing both people and the audit function.

The Role

As Audit Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of audit engagements, team leadership, and client relationship management.

• Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a broad mix of sectors
• Leading audits from planning through to completion, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
• Handling audit risk assessments, budgeting, and resource planning
• Reviewing audit files and statutory accounts, ensuring high quality and timely completion
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients during engagements, providing clear commercial advice
• Coaching, mentoring and developing Audit Seniors, Semi Seniors and trainees
• Supporting partners with workflow management, client planning, and service line improvement
• Identifying opportunities to add value, improve processes, and support business development
• Ensuring audit work is delivered within timescales, budgets, and firm methodology

This is a hands-on role blending technical delivery, leadership, and client advisory work.
