This is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Senior to join a leading accountancy and advisory firm in Newcastle. You’ll work on a mix of compliance and advisory projects across a diverse client base, while developing your technical expertise and client management skills in a supportive environment.
The Role
As Corporate Tax Senior, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality corporate tax services to a wide range of clients. You’ll manage your own portfolio, support junior staff, and contribute to advisory projects that add real value to your clients’ businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
- Managing corporate tax compliance processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Assisting with advisory assignments, including business restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, R&D tax claims, and tax planning projects.
- Liaising directly with clients to build strong, trusted relationships and provide expert advice.
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members, supporting their professional growth.
- Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and sharing knowledge within the team.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and add value to client relationships.
