Corporate Tax Senior

This is a compelling opportunity for a Corporate Tax Senior to join a well-respected firm’s Tax Consultancy department in Leeds. You’ll work on a wide range of corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments, managing robust client relationships and supporting a talented team.

The Role

As Corporate Tax Senior, you’ll be integral to delivering both compliance and advisory services across a diverse corporate client portfolio. Working closely with managers and directors, you will manage your own clients, lead technical workstreams and identify opportunities to add value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, reviewing and submitting corporation tax computations for a diverse range of clients
  • Managing corporate tax compliance obligations, ensuring deadlines are met and risks minimised
  • Supporting advisory work including business restructures, acquisitions, disposals, R&D tax claims and tax planning projects
  • Acting as a key contact for clients, developing trusted relationships and providing clear, practical advice
  • Supervising and reviewing work prepared by junior team members
  • Keeping technical knowledge up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency, process improvements and added value for clients

About You

You’ll be a technically capable and ambitious tax professional who enjoys building relationships and taking on new challenges.

You will:

  • Be ATT qualified as a minimum, ideally CTA qualified or studying towards it
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have a strong understanding of corporate tax compliance and the confidence to assist with advisory work
  • Be highly organised and able to manage multiple assignments to tight deadlines
  • Be proactive, detail-focused, and eager to grow within a collaborative team
  • Enjoy mentoring and supporting junior team members
