Audit & Accounts Partner Designate
Are you an experienced Audit & Accounts professional seeking a senior leadership role with influence and genuine progression?

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Partner Designate to join a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Oxford. You’ll lead a diverse portfolio of clients, oversee complex assignments, and work closely with existing Partners to shape the future direction of the firm.
As Audit & Accounts Partner Designate, you’ll take responsibility for key client relationships, ensuring the delivery of outstanding technical and commercial advice. You’ll also mentor and develop your team while contributing to the firm’s strategic and operational leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients across a range of industries
- Leading audits from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with standards
- Reviewing statutory accounts and advising on accounting and tax matters
- Acting as a trusted advisor to business owners and senior stakeholders
- Developing and mentoring audit and accounts staff
- Supporting Partners with business development, proposals, and networking
- Contributing to firm-wide strategy and operational leadership
About You
You’re a technically strong and commercially focused accounting professional with proven leadership ability.
You will:
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive practice experience
- Have a strong background managing audits and client portfolios
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of FRS 102 and current auditing standards
- Possess strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Have experience mentoring and developing others within a practice setting
- Be ambitious, collaborative, and ready to progress to Partner level
