Audit & Accounts Partner Designate

This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit & Accounts Partner Designate to join a growing and well-established accountancy firm in Oxfordshire. You’ll oversee a varied client base, lead high-level engagements, and work closely with Partners to deliver outstanding service and drive growth.
The Role
As Partner Designate, you’ll lead multiple audit and accounting projects while managing a team of skilled professionals. You’ll also take a hands-on role in client advisory, business development, and firm strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of audit, accounts, and advisory clients across sectors
- Leading and reviewing audits to ensure compliance with professional standards
- Overseeing financial reporting, statutory accounts, and corporate tax processes
- Developing client relationships and identifying advisory opportunities
- Mentoring team members and supporting their professional development
- Working with the Partner group to implement strategic initiatives
- Representing the firm at networking events and contributing to growth plans
About You
You’re a proactive and people-focused professional who combines technical excellence with commercial vision.
You will:

Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in practice.

Have extensive experience leading audits and accounts for diverse clients.

Be confident managing teams and building trusted client relationships.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of FRS 102 and auditing standards.

Possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Have the ambition and drive to progress to Partner level within a growing firm.
