What you’ll be doing:

• Processing data from client records into cloud-based systems, primarily Xero
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and managing daily bookkeeping responsibilities
• Handling invoices, payments, and reconciliations with precision and timeliness
• Liaising professionally and diplomatically with both clients and internal teams
• Participating in ongoing training and development to build technical and IT skills
• Supporting senior colleagues and contributing to client service excellence

What we’re looking for:

• Working towards or holding an AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification
• Prior experience using Xero (or a willingness to learn)
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially under pressure
• Excellent communication skills – friendly, professional, and approachable
• An understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, including bank reconciliations
• A proactive, adaptable attitude with a passion for client service
• A commercial mindset and awareness of broader accountancy services
