Audit Semi Senior

A well-established accountancy and advisory practice in Lutterworth is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join their successful team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with experience in audit and accounts preparation. You’ll work with owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and corporate clients, developing your expertise while supporting the audit team in delivering high-quality services.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist on audit assignments alongside experienced seniors and managers
- Lead smaller audit engagements and support larger audits
- Prepare financial statements for a variety of businesses
- Support audit fieldwork, planning, and risk assessment
- Review and process client records accurately
- Prepare management accounts and VAT returns
- Develop strong client relationships and assist with queries
- Stay up to date with audit regulations and best practices

Candidate Requirements
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, actively studying towards full qualification
- 1–2 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Experience in accounts preparation, tax, and VAT compliance
- Proficiency in audit software (CCH, CaseWare, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A proactive team player with strong communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
