Role Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the personal tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients
- Provide expert advice on personal tax planning, inheritance tax, trusts, and capital gains tax
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their go-to advisor
- Review and sign off on complex tax computations prepared by junior team members
- Identify tax planning opportunities and implement bespoke strategies for clients
- Support the development and training of team members, fostering their growth and expertise
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation, ensuring clients remain compliant and benefit from new opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the wider tax and accounts teams on cross-departmental projects

Candidate Requirements
Ideally, you will:
- Be CTA qualified or hold equivalent professional qualifications.
- Have substantial experience in personal tax, including compliance and advisory.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to manage and develop a client portfolio.
- Show strong technical expertise in inheritance tax, trusts, and capital gains tax.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture client relationships.
- Exhibit leadership capabilities, including mentoring and managing junior team members.
- Be proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
