Senior Client Manager

We’re working with a dynamic and growing professional services firm to recruit an experienced Senior Client Manager to join their London-based team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of a key client portfolio, lead a talented team, and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s continued growth and success.

As Senior Client Manager, you’ll act as the primary advisor to a broad portfolio of clients—from ambitious UK-based SMEs to international groups—delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services. You’ll be empowered to build lasting relationships, influence business outcomes, and help drive forward a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Role Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate and entrepreneurial clients across a variety of sectors

• Leading the preparation and review of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and management reports

• Advising on areas such as group structuring, international expansion, and financial reporting strategy

• Acting as the main point of contact for client communications, relationship management, and service delivery

• Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level staff, conducting reviews and driving development

• Working closely with partners and heads of department on strategic planning and client retention

• Identifying opportunities for added-value services and supporting firm-wide business development

This role combines commercial thinking, technical expertise, and leadership in a fast-paced, client-first environment.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with substantial post-qualification experience in a UK practice setting

• Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering advisory-led services

• Deep understanding of UK accounting standards, compliance obligations, and tax regulations

• Comfortable working with owner-managed businesses and international clients

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues

• A proactive and collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring others and driving performance
