We’re partnering with a progressive and well-established professional services firm to recruit an experienced Senior Client Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in delivering strategic, value-led services to a growing base of ambitious businesses.

As Senior Client Manager, you’ll act as the main point of contact for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients—from scaling start-ups to established owner-managed companies—delivering technical excellence and trusted commercial insight across compliance, advisory, and growth matters.

Role Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients across multiple sectors

• Overseeing the preparation and final review of statutory accounts, tax computations, and management reports

• Providing proactive advice on business strategy, financial structuring, and tax planning opportunities

• Acting as a strategic partner to clients, supporting their business journeys and building lasting relationships

• Leading, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior and mid-level team members

• Working closely with partners and senior leadership on firm-wide projects, process improvements, and client satisfaction initiatives

• Playing a role in business development and contributing to the ongoing growth of the practice

This is a hands-on leadership position that blends technical strength, commercial acumen, and people development.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with substantial post-qualification experience in a UK accountancy practice

• Demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients with varying complexity

• Excellent technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax legislation, and compliance requirements

• Commercially savvy, with the ability to identify opportunities and add value through tailored advice

• Confident and articulate communicator, both with clients and internal teams

• Natural team leader with a collaborative mindset and a passion for coaching others
