Interim Payroll Manager Job based in Dudley accountancy firm 

Have you got experience of managing Payroll services for clients in the Corporate and Owner Managed Business space? Do you possess strong Client Service skills along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently?

If so, we may have the ideal Interim Assignment for you working for our Client a successful and entrepreneurial accountancy firm in the West Midlands. 

This is a Payroll Manager Job in Dudley suitable for an experienced payroll professional with experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm. Knowledge of working with Sage Payroll is essential. Candidates will also be considered who are working in a similar role which involves managing multiple payrolls for a wide range of clients. We are looking for someone with ideally 8-10 years of experience and the ability to manage a small team with confidence.  

The Interim Assignment is intended to cover a transitional period within the firm, and should last for 2-3 months as a minimum.

The successful applicant will be running payrolls of up to 200 employees. 

The main responsibilities for the Payroll Manager Job will be;

·         Managing a team of payroll processors

·         Ensuring that all payroll jobs are completed correctly

·         Managing all work in process/deadlines to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and on time

·         Liaising with clients and answering queries

·         Use of SAGE Payroll

·         Training team members on SAGE Payroll

·         Completing basic bookkeeping for clients

·         VAT Returns
