Payroll Manager Job Vacancy 

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking to lead a varied client portfolio as part of a leading firm? If so, this Payroll Manager job in Harpenden could be for you. 

Suited to someone who is technically competent and a confident communicator, the successful candidate will work closely with clients to oversee payroll for a diverse portfolio. 

You’ll have considerable experience using accountancy software, including Sage Payroll, and strong attention to detail will be essential. 

Job Purpose 

  • Manage multiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio. 
  • Support the team in respect of processes relevant to payroll and benefits. 
  • Managing queries related to tax, benefits, salary, allowances. 
  • Managing P11D’s and Annual Returns. 
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the team. 
  • Support the Partners with networking and business development opportunities.
